Dougos Rapsani Old Vines “Tourtoura” 2020 is a premium dry red wine that expresses the authentic character of the historic Rapsani appellation, located on the slopes of Mount Olympus. Produced from low-yielding old vineyards and crafted with a philosophy focused on terroir and elegance, it delivers depth, structure, and refined complexity.

This distinguished wine is a traditional blend of the indigenous grape varieties Xinomavro, Krassato, and Stavroto. It displays a deep ruby colour and a complex aromatic profile of ripe red fruits, dried tomato, sweet spices, herbs, and subtle earthy nuances. Oak ageing contributes delicate notes of vanilla, cocoa, and toasted wood.

On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with vibrant acidity, structured tannins, and layered flavours that evolve into a long, persistent, and mineral finish. The wine shows excellent ageing potential and benefits from decanting before serving.
