Martin Ray, Pinot Noir 2021

An elegant and expressive Pinot Noir from the cool, maritime-influenced Sonoma Coast. The bouquet opens with bright aromas of Bing cherry, raspberry and slightly tart plum, complemented by delicate notes of spice and earthy mushroom.

Vivid red-fruit flavours continue across the palate, layered with touches of clove and fresh citrus zest. Lively acidity gives the wine freshness and precision, while structured yet plush tannins create a smooth texture and a refined, persistent finish.

Made from 100% Pinot Noir and matured for 12 months in French oak, including 25% new barrels, this is a balanced and characterful expression of the Sonoma Coast.

Food pairing: Excellent with roast duck, grilled salmon, pork tenderloin, mushroom risotto, herb-roasted chicken and soft cheeses.
