Semeli, Nemea Grande Reserve

Produced from estate-owned vineyards in Koutsi, Nemea, surrounding the winery, Semeli Nemea Grande Reserve is a powerful and age-worthy expression of Agiorgitiko. In the glass, it shows a bright, deep garnet colour with pronounced viscosity, reflecting its concentration and maturity.

The nose is rich and expressive, revealing ripe red fruit aromas that highlight the classic character of well-aged Agiorgitiko. These are layered with complex notes of spices and herbs, developed through extended ageing in barrique and further refinement in bottle. On the palate, the wine is dense and rounded, with velvety, graceful tannins and a generous alcohol presence, balanced by lively acidity. The finish is long and expansive, offering lingering flavours of chocolate, marmalade, toasted bread, and cinnamon.

A structured and elegant wine, it pairs beautifully with rich meat dishes, roast lamb, charcoal-grilled or spit-roasted meats, and both hard yellow and creamy cheeses.
