Barbaresco D.O.C.G. Riserva Pajè 2013

Barbaresco Riserva Pajè is an elegant and expressive Nebbiolo drawn from the renowned Pajè vineyard, known for producing wines of finesse, aromatic depth, and structure. The limestone and clay soils, rich in calcium with sandy veins, contribute to the wine’s precision, minerality, and refined tannic profile.

Presents a medium-bodied style with intense aromas of spicy red fruit, dried rose petals, and subtle earthy nuances. On the palate, the wine is focused and powerful, with tight, well-defined tannins, vibrant freshness, and a long, persistent finish that highlights both elegance and depth.

Vinified with extended skin contact and carefully completed malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 36 months in large oak barrels followed by 6 months in bottle, allowing complexity and balance to fully emerge. It pairs beautifully with fresh pasta, meat dishes—especially lamb and feathered game—and mild cheeses, making it a refined and age-worthy expression of Barbaresco.
