Description

Tasting Notes:
Deep, intense ruby colour with vibrant purple highlights. The nose is fresh yet refined, revealing layers of red and black fruits intertwined with subtle notes of coffee, black pepper, and gentle spice. On the palate, the wine is juicy and expressive, supported by bright acidity and generous yet silky tannins, leading to a long, persistent finish marked by elegance and depth.

Origin:
From carefully pre-selected micro-terroir plots at the Los Lingues Estate in the Colchagua Valley. All grapes are hand-harvested into 10-kilogram trays to preserve fruit integrity.

Harvest & Vinification:
Grapes are cooled to below 5 °C upon arrival at the winery, followed by meticulous hand sorting before and after destemming. A 10-day pre-fermentative cold maceration at 6 °C enhances aromatic purity. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in 500–1,000-litre rotating barrels for 16 days at 26–30 °C, followed by a 15-day post-fermentation maceration. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in 500-litre French oak barrels, adding texture and complexity.

Ageing:
Aged for 12 months in 100% French oak barrels, with barrel selection guided by the winery’s panel of oenologists to ensure balance and finesse.

Food Pairings:
Exceptionally versatile, this wine pairs beautifully with rosemary-roasted lamb, juicy stuffed steaks, roasted or stuffed chicken, pork ribs, and all styles of barbecued meats. Its richness and spice also make it an excellent match for flavourful Indian cuisine and classic Spanish dishes.
