Clos De Gat, Harel Syrah 2017

A rich and expressive Syrah from the Judean Hills, produced by Clos de Gat in the foothills bordering the Ayalon Valley. The estate’s limestone-rich soils and warm Mediterranean climate help create a ripe, structured style with good freshness.

The 2017 vintage shows a deep purple colour with aromas of ripe plum, red berries, pepper, vanilla, cinnamon and subtle toasted oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well balanced, with refreshing acidity, rounded integrated tannins and a long, lively and elegant finish.
