Delas Vacqueyras Domaine des Genêts 2020 is a generous and well-structured Southern Rhône red, born from a long-standing partnership between Delas Frères and Domaine des Genêts that began in 1990. Drawn from 25 hectares of carefully managed vineyards, this cuvée blends Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre to capture the warmth and character of Vacqueyras.

In the glass, the wine shows a bright ruby-red colour with lively highlights. The nose is expressive and layered, offering ripe red and black fruit aromas, black cherry and stone fruit, lifted by a subtle note of liquorice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well built, combining richness and balance with controlled power. The structure is firm yet approachable, and the long, persistent finish highlights its excellent ageing potential.

Vinified in temperature-controlled tanks with careful extraction and matured for up to twelve months to preserve fruit purity, this Vacqueyras is both authentic and versatile. It pairs beautifully with Provençal cuisine, hearty stews, beef in sauce, and a wide range of cheeses, making it a reliable and expressive wine for the table.
