Pierre Gimonnet ‘Rose de Blancs’ Champagne Premier Cru

This elegant Champagne is presented in a 0.75 L bottle with an alcohol level of 12% and is classified as Premier Cru, produced in a Brut style with a dosage between 6 and 12 g/L. Crafted mainly from Premier Cru and Grand Cru Chardonnay, it is refined by a discreet addition of 6% Grand Cru Bouzy Pinot Noir, giving the wine both finesse and subtle complexity. Production is deliberately limited, with around 15,000 bottles made each year, and all grapes are hand-harvested to ensure optimal quality.

The colour is a very pale, delicate pink, crystal-clear and luminous. On the nose and palate, the first impression is vibrant and fresh, combining bright citrus notes from the Chardonnay with gentle red berry nuances from the Pinot Noir. As the wine opens, its lively and airy character evolves into a smooth, creamy texture, finishing with elegant minerality and refined hints of tangerine.

A refined and versatile Champagne, ideal as an aperitif or served throughout a meal. It pairs beautifully with seafood dishes and light desserts such as sabayon or red fruit-based finishes. Best enjoyed well chilled, served between 8 and 10 °C.
