Ch. Gazin, Pomerol 2022

A true expression of Pomerol’s classic terroir, the 2022 Château Gazin is a refined and powerful Bordeaux red that balances elegance with depth. Harvested from the estate’s extensive clay-gravel vineyards on the high terrace of Pomerol, this vintage showcases the signature Merlot-dominated blend typical of Gazin, with structure and finesse that promise superb aging potential.

Tasting Notes:
Deep garnet in color, the nose opens with rich aromas of ripe black cherries, blackberry and spice, intertwined with hints of cocoa, cedar and subtle earthy notes. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with supple, well-integrated tannins and excellent mid-palate depth. Flavors of dark fruit, licorice and gentle oak lead to a long, layered finish. This vintage offers both immediate appeal and the ability to mature beautifully in cellar over the next decade.

Cellaring & Pairing:
While approachable now with decanting, Château Gazin 2022 will reward patience — reaching its peak around 2032–2034. It pairs exceptionally well with rich meats, game, roasted lamb and mature cheeses
