La Jota, Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain 2019

A powerful and refined mountain Cabernet Sauvignon from the prestigious Howell Mountain appellation in Napa Valley. The nose reveals concentrated aromas of blackberry, raspberry and mulberry, complemented by notes of liquorice, cedar, sassafras and subtle woodland spice.

Compact and structured on the palate, with a vibrant core of ripe dark and red fruit framed by firm, finely textured tannins. Layers of graphite, crushed stone and savoury oak add depth and complexity, leading to a long, focused and persistent finish.

Made predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot, this is a sophisticated, age-worthy expression of Howell Mountain’s distinctive intensity and mineral character.
