Schlumberger, Riesling, “Les Princes Abbés” 2022

Bright lemon yellow with subtle green reflections, this Riesling is youthful, clear, and vibrant. The nose is open and expressive, offering lively aromas of citrus and lime, white flowers, and a refined hint of ginger, with aeration revealing a precise mineral edge.

On the palate, it opens with a dense yet balanced attack, then unfolds into a taut, pithy mid-palate marked by freshness and energy. Flavours mirror the nose—citrus, lime, gentle spice, white florals—lifted by a fine mineral line and a delicate touch of vanilla. The finish is long and persistent (7–8 caudalies), crisp and precise, showcasing a straight, racy balance and classic Alsace definition.

A natural partner for traditional cuisine, it pairs beautifully with smoked eel in Riesling sauce, lemon-marinated haddock, or Alsatian sausage salad. Serve at 12 °C.
