Estate Argyros, Evdemon 2022

A cold winter with a rare snow fall and 320 mm of rainfall created a good water capacity. The spring was short, the summer mild and coupled with strong winds, the vine temperature was kept at relatively low levels. Maturity came late, preserving excellent acidity. As a result, harvest began on the 16th of August, with good fruit quality and an average yield of 17,5 hl/ha. The intense rain on the 24th of August did not create any problems, being rather a pause for our more voluptuous vineyards that are picked at the end of the harvest season.
