Legacy, Petite Sirah 2017

A powerful and deeply concentrated Petite Sirah from Alexander Valley, displaying an intense purple-black colour and a rich aromatic profile of black cherry compote, blackberry, plum and dried dark fruit. Layers of cocoa, baking spices, earth and subtle savoury notes add depth and complexity.

Full-bodied and imposing on the palate, with dense black-fruit flavours framed by firm, richly textured tannins. Despite its intensity, the wine retains excellent balance and freshness, leading to a long, structured and persistent finish.

Made from 88% Petite Sirah and 12% Syrah, this is a bold, age-worthy Californian red that benefits from decanting before serving.

Food pairing: Excellent with slow-braised beef, barbecued ribs, venison, grilled steak, rich meat casseroles and mature cheeses.
