Porta Rossa Barolo DOCG Bricco Ambrogio 1997

Very pure aroma, reminiscent of roasted chestnuts, prunes, dark chocolate and hot spices like nutmeg. Further hints of dried herbs, leather and black truffle. The taste is elegant with a fine acid and clear tannins. The aftertaste is incredibly long and focused on dried red roses and sun-ripened cherries.
